As we prepare to take action in 2026 in support of democracy and social justice here in Maine, MUUSAN is reaching out to all Unitarian Universalists to join us. Inspired by our recent Network meeting, we are committed to amplifying our UU voices wherever public policy is discussed, from the state house to local town councils and school boards, and we need your participation in our new survey to make more vital connections.
This year we will continue to issue Statewide Action Alerts for advocacy on bills in all last year’s issue areas for which we have leadership. In addition, we are launching a trial extension of our network to issue Local Action Alerts to people who want to stay informed of actions they could take in their local communities on LGBTQIA+ issues, including supporting trans students and athletes.
